Instructor: Katrina Hall

BIO:

Katrina Hall began dancing at age two and, as a teen, completed a three-year teacher training program while student teaching. After graduating in 2001, she discovered her passion for teaching and began working with local preschools teaching dance in 2002. 

She went on to study Early Childhood Education at the University of South Florida with a minor in Dance, training under renowned ballet professor Gretchen Ward Warren. In 2008, Katrina returned to Pennsylvania, teaching at various studios across the Delaware Valley and spending a decade with First State Ballet Theatre’s outreach program in Wilmington, DE.

With nearly 25 years of teaching experience, Katrina is a Rhythm Works Integrated Dance Certified Instructor and a proud member of DiscoverDance, Dance Teacher Alliance, and Team Julie Kay. She loves working with dancers of all ages, especially in early childhood and all levels of ballet/pointe…and fun fact, she has been teaching Bollywood since 2011! 

Katrina’s teaching philosophy is rooted in creating an inclusive, welcoming environment where every student feels supported, inspired, and has fun while learning. She currently serves on the faculty of her alma mater, Parkside Academy of Music & Dance, is Assistant Director at The Anna Marie Dance Studio (Aston, PA), and works with Children’s Drama Workshops. 

Outside of the studio, Katrina and her husband are proud parents of two children & one beloved fur baby rescue Samoyed.
